On April 1, local time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that legal teams from Ukraine and the United States are currently negotiating a mineral agreement. He noted that NATO was not part of the agreement.
Zelensky said that lawyers from both sides were discussing a new draft agreement and that the outcome would likely be determined in the coming days. He said there was no NATO issue in the agreement, there was no such thing.
Earlier, according to CNN News, US President Trump said that Ukraine allegedly asked to sign a mineral agreement in exchange for joining NATO.
