At the same time, Chery Qingdao base stamping phase II and KD production workshop project is in full progress. The project plans a total investment of 135 million yuan, construction area of 37,500 square meters. At present, the main body of the stamping workshop has been completed, and the KD workshop has been delivered. After the completion of the project, the expanded stamping workshop can greatly improve the vehicle production capacity of Chery Qingdao base to meet the market demand, and the newly built KD workshop can meet the production and shipping of 100,000 KD parts.
In line with the accelerating pace of electric and intelligent development of the automobile industry, Qingdao vehicle enterprises will increase their capacity upgrading and transformation in 2024 to boost the quality and efficiency of Qingdao's automobile industry.
