Silicon calcium alloy is a composite alloy composed of elements silicon, calcium, and iron, and is an ideal composite deoxidizer and desulfurizer. It is widely used in the production of steel grades such as low-carbon steel and stainless steel, as well as special alloys such as nickel based alloys and titanium based alloys; And suitable as a heating agent for converter steelmaking workshops; It can also be used as an inoculant for cast iron and as an additive in the production of ball milled cast iron.

Silicon calcium alloy usage:

Calcium and silicon have a strong affinity for oxygen. Especially calcium has a strong affinity for oxygen, as well as for sulfur and nitrogen. So silicon calcium alloy is an ideal composite oxygen and desulfurization agent. Silicon alloy has strong deoxygenation ability, and the deoxygenation products are easy to float and discharge. It can also improve the performance of steel, enhance its plasticity, impact toughness, and flowability. At present, silicon calcium alloy can replace aluminum for final deoxidation. Used in the production of steel, special steel, and special alloys. For example, steel grades such as rail steel, low-carbon steel, stainless steel, and special alloys such as nickel based alloys and titanium based alloys can all use silicon calcium alloys as deoxidizers. Silicon calcium alloy is also suitable as a heating agent for the converter steelmaking workshop, and can also be used as an inoculant for cast iron and an additive in the production of ductile iron.
